The Blacklist
2014
Lee Tergesen plays Frank Hyland, the husband of Naomi Hyland,
played by Mary-Louise Parker.
Naomi was once married to Raymond "Red" Reddington -- the central
character played by James Spader. She was known as Carla
Reddington then. Frank, her current husband, apparently knows
nothing of her former life with Red, with whom she had a daughter.
"The Blacklist" was a breakout hit in its first season, and Lee
will have a recurring role in the show's second season.
NBC describes the series' premise as follows:
Reddington is a former government agent who became one of the
FBI's most wanted fugitives. After decades, he mysteriously
surrendered to the FBI with an explosive offer: He will help catch a
long-thought-dead terrorist, Ranko Zamani, under the condition that
he speaks only to Elizabeth "Liz" Keen, an FBI profiler fresh out of
Quantico.
Zamani is only the first of many on a list that Red has compiled
over the years: a "blacklist" of politicians, mobsters, spies and
international terrorists. He will help catch them all... with the
caveat that Liz continues to work as his partner. Red will teach Liz
to think like a criminal to "see the bigger picture" - whether she
wants to or not.
