Lee Tergesen plays billionaire Steven Cook in the summer finale of the FOX series "Lie
to Me."
The series stars Tim Roth as Cal Lightman, the world's top
deception expert. He leads The Lightman Group -- a team of experts who assist federal law
enforcement, government agencies and local police with their most
difficult cases.
In this episode, The Lightman Group investigates the murder of a
journalist friend of Lightman's who was exposing a corrupt
politician. Tim Roth's character does a lot of slouching and peering
at people.
In this episode, people seem to be double-crossing each other a lot. Lee
appears in the second half of the show to face the lie-detection
techniques of the Lightman Group.
Seemingly the victim of an attempted hit, it turns out he was
behind the crime all along -- the culmination of a longtime grudge
against the corrupt politician. |
